Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit this website and why. It covers the website only, not the Myda app, which has its own terms and privacy information.
1. Who is responsible
The controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Myda (Jung Woo Lee, Rehan Khurram, Harry Tsang)Donaustraße 44, 12043 Berlin, Germany
Email: jungwoo.lee@appmyda.com
2. The short version
- We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels or advertising tools on this website.
- Fonts and images are served from our own server. Your browser does not contact Google or other font services.
- On this website we only receive personal data if you email us or book a call.
3. Hosting and technical delivery
This website runs on a server rented from Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. To deliver the pages, the server necessarily processes your IP address and the technical details your browser sends (requested page, date and time, browser type and referring page). We do not store access logs by default. If we temporarily enable them to fix errors or fend off attacks, they are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with Hetzner under Art. 28 GDPR.
All connections to this website are encrypted with HTTPS (TLS).
4. Contacting us
If you email us, we process your email address, name if you give it, and the content of your message, only to reply to you. Our email is hosted by Zoho in its EU data centre.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We delete your messages when they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods (for example for business correspondence) require us to keep them longer.
Signing up or logging in (appmyda.com/register and /login) takes you to the Myda app. Data you enter there is covered by the app's own privacy information, not this policy.
5. Booking a call
The “Book a demo” and “book a free call” links open our booking page on Zoho Calendar (calendar.zoho.eu). Nothing is loaded from Zoho until you click. The details you enter there, such as your name, email address and chosen time, are processed by Zoho on our behalf so we can schedule and hold the call. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. You can read Zoho's privacy policy at zoho.com/privacy.
6. Links to LinkedIn and other websites
We link to LinkedIn profiles and pages. These are plain links: no LinkedIn plug-ins or scripts run on our website, and no data is sent to LinkedIn unless you click a link. After that, LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17)
- restrict how we process it (Art. 18)
- receive it in a portable format (Art. 20)
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 21)
- withdraw any consent you gave, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3))
To use any of these rights, email us at jungwoo.lee@appmyda.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
8. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the website or the law changes, for example if we add analytics or a new sign-up tool. The date at the top shows the latest version.
